Sorors, the title of my new release – If I Were Your Woman - should bring back some wonderful memories of Gladys Knight and the Pips performing that hit song on The Ed Sullivan Show February 7, 1971. And for those of you who are not old enough to have seen their debut on national TV, just click on the pciture and be taken back to that awesome performance – oh and try not to chuckle about those green outfits my girl Gladys and the Pips are wearing

Join the If I Were Your Woman Challenge for a chance to have your registration to our 50th National Convention in New Orleans, LA July 29, 2010 – August 4, 2010 PAID-IN-FULL!
Here’s the challenge: Starting March 22 – 26, 2010 — Create a new stanza for If I Were Your Woman!
Here’s the opening stanza to the song:
If I were you woman
And you were my man
You’d have no other woman
You’d be weak as a lamb
If you had the strength
To walk out that door
My love would overrule my sense
And I’d call you back for more
Think you can write a new opening stanza for a chance to have your registration to this year’s Delta convention PAID-IN-FULL? Sure you can!
All you have to do is write a new stanza of this song and post it in the “Addtional Comments” section on my promotion page by midnight PST Friday, March 26, 2010. The best stanza will be selected and the winner will be announced on Monday, March 29, 2010 at my blog.
Good luck, Sorors and I’ll see the winner in New Orleans!

My Sister-
Congratulations on the publication of your latest book! My heart is full this month of Sisterhood, and so this re-written stanza is dedicated to you and all Deltas worldwide:
If I were your woman
A Woman of D S T
My love and dedication
Would be astounding to see
In me is Sisterhood
Of 22 Founders Past
An undeniable devotion
That only Delta Women Have
If I were your woman…
If I were your woman…
A Woman of D S T!
Much love and success to you!
