Remember, I mentioned that I’ve added banner advertising to my promotion efforts to get the word out about my new book this year? Well, this week I’m promoting on some wonderful online Romance communities that I didn’t even know existed!

So this week . . .

I have an awesome animated Book Mark Ad on display at Romance Reviews Today. If you look closely at the large 980 x 300 pixel rotating banner ad and wait for the 4th ad in rotation you will see the major ad spot I was lucky to secure at Night Owl Romance this month.

In addition to my banner ad, my book’s video has been added to their Book Flicks/Digital Preview for all to see, too.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t salute the countless literary pioneers who paved the way for me and other African-American authors during the month deemed Black History Month. Although we’ve come a long way, we’ve got a long way to go.

During a recent interview with Shelia English, CEO of COS Production, we talked about the significance of Black History Month and ways African-American authors can be better promoted in the publishing industry. Our discussion was candid, and hopefully, lends to the implementation of strategies, which allow for parity to all authors regardless of ethnicity.
